Här är en ny analys av det intressanta Fortum  We reiterate our Reduce recommendation for Fortum and revise our target price to EUR 14.0 (was EUR 14.5). The Q3 result was largely in line with our expectations, but the earnings forecasts for the coming years remained under mild pressure as electricity prices stayed depressed. After an exceptionally strong cash flow in the second half of the year, Fortum will soon have net cash, so a generous dividend stream is secured, and the valuation is low anyway. However, given that earnings growth will remain negative in the coming years, we believe that without a positive development in electricity prices, the return potential is limited. I Europa och världen har energibolagen stigit nyligen. En orsak är bland annat AI-hypen, eftersom AI kräver enorma mängder el. Så förändras narrativet! Europas kraftbolag är fortfarande relativt billiga jämfört med resten av börsen, men för närvarande dämpar svaga tillväxtutsikter och räntor värderingen.

The outlook was revised, but the positive changes were driven more by operational performance. We think the stock is undervalued, but in the short term there are few upside drivers.

De första årliga underhållen för Olkiluoto 3 kärnkraftverket förlängs ytterligare sex dagar på grund av tekniska problem. Underhållen för Olkiluoto 3 började den 2 mars. Ursprungligen skulle underhållet ha avslutats den 8 april. Cirka 1 100 externa arbetstagare deltar i underhållet.

Lätta reflektioner.  För Fortum-investerare finns följande positiva aspekter:   Utdelning, utdelning och utdelning… säger finländarna.    Möjlighet till värdeökning när samhällets elektrifiering stärks.   Förväntad skärpning av balansen mellan efterfrågan och produktionen under kommande år, vilket kan leda till högre elpriser.   Företagets förmåga att producera lågutsläppselektricitet, vilket svarar mot behovet av att bekämpa klimatförändringar.   Aktien är fortfarande billig; delvis kanske på grund av gamla misstag, men förhoppningsvis gör inte företaget sådana misstag längre…
