OptiCept expands its presence in the olive oil sector

OptiCept continues to expand its presence in the olive oil sector with a series of agreements in Andalusia, Spain, demonstrating the growing acceptance and strategic value of its PEF technology.

Today, August 1, 2024, OptiCept announced a lease agreement with Finca Duernas, an esteemed olive oil producer in Cordoba, Andalusia. The lease includes an option to purchase, and the PEF system is expected to be operational by September.

This follows a similar lease agreement on July 17, 2024, with Oleícola San Francisco, another notable olive oil producer in Jaen, Andalusia. Oleícola San Francisco will also rent OptiCept's PEF system for the 2024-2025 season, with an option to purchase. The machine is scheduled to be installed in September.

Additionally, on July 15, 2024, OptiCept secured an order from Cortijo La Labor in Jaen, Andalusia, for an oliveCEPT® machine worth 180,000 Euros, scheduled for installation in September.

OptiCept’s strategic expansion in Andalusia, a central hub of global olive oil production, indicates the company’s growing influence and increasing recognition of its PEF technology.

While these agreements strengthen OptiCept's market position and provide valuable reference installations, it is important to note that our current estimates already factor in strong growth projections for the company.
