Agillic: Upgraded guidance for 2022
Agillic today raised its 2022 guidance ahead of the Q3 report that will be released on Friday 14 October.
The guidance on ARR (new guidance: DKK 68-76m, before: DKK 66-74m) and revenue (new guidance: DKK 61-65m) are raised with DKK 1m in the bottom and in the top end of the interval. The guidance on earnings (EBITDA) is kept at DKK 0-3m.
It’s the transaction-based part of the revenue and ARR that have been raised, which could explain the muted reaction in the share today as this part of the business is more volatile and therefore less signal looking into the future.
Albeit the size of the upgrade, and the earnings don’t follow, we see some positive signals in the guidance upgrade.
In a world where growth is de-accelerating, especially in the retail segments to which Agillic is exposed, even a tiny upwards adjustment actually is a tale of strength.
Moreover, it sends a small signal to the current discussion in the software sector namely which part is more protected in an economic downturn.
We must await the Q3 report for more detail about the guidance upgrade.
