Metacon hires Mattias Jansson as Chief Financial Officer
Metacon announced earlier today that they have hired Mattias Jansson as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 July 2024. Mattias Jansson replaces Göran Rasberg, who intends to retire. Göran Rasberg has been serving as the CFO on a consultant basis since 2019.
Mattias Jansson joins Metacon from Olink Proteomics, where he holds the title of Finance Director. He has previously held the role of CFO for the Olink Proteomics Group and the title of Finance Control Manager at IP-Only. In these previous roles, Mattias has led and developed finance departments for international companies in a phase comparable to Metacon. We view this announcement as positive. As the company continues its growth journey and shifts its focus towards larger projects and electrolyzer manufacturing, securing a CFO with the correct experience and expertise is important.
Metacon is an energy technology company that develops and sells small and large energy systems for the production of hydrogen, electricity and heat. The company's offering includes electrolysis, reforming and combined energy systems, with customers in industry, transport and real estate. Metacon operates internationally. The company was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Örebro.
