AcouSort AB has received a new project order from MFX with a total value of EUR 9,500. The project builds on the existing collaboration between the companies and will evaluate AcouSort’s acoustic cell washing technology at increased flow rates.
The project will investigate the feasibility of processing larger sample volumes using AcouSort’s acoustofluidic technology. The study is a continuation of the AcouWash lease agreement initiated in Q1 2026 and focuses on optimizing cell isolation from lysed blood at higher flow rates. The project aims to provide further evidence of the potential for AcouSort’s separation technology to meet the throughput requirements of full-scale production.
Increasing processing capacity is an important part of AcouSort’s continued technology development and will broaden the range of applications and workflows that can benefit from automated acoustic sample preparation.
“We are pleased to continue our collaboration with MFX through this new project. Increasing throughput is an important development objective for AcouSort, and this study will allow us to further evaluate the potential of our technology for processing larger sample volumes,” says Dr. Torsten Freltoft, CEO of AcouSort.
