Acuvi AB has entered into an exclusive global collaboration agreement with an established Japanese manufacturer of precision positioning systems. The agreement grants Acuvi the right to market and sell globally a product line of motorized precision stages under the PiezoMotor brand.

The collaboration represents a strategic expansion of PiezoMotor's offering from piezoelectric motors to complete precision positioning systems in which the motor, mechanics and control electronics are combined in an integrated product platform. The initial product portfolio comprises 12 precision stages in several configurations, including linear, rotary and goniometric stages.
The collaboration is based on a proven technical integration, with PiezoMotor's motor technology already being used in the Japanese partner's products for commercial applications in areas including optics, semiconductors and life science.

The global commercial launch will commence immediately. Considering the normal lead times for customer evaluation and design-in, a more visible impact on sales is expected during 2027.
