Keep these coming, more and more, although they are unfortunately slow to monetize. The wait is long, especially since all parties must proceed slowly through pilots for each cancer type separately before this becomes mainstream. *> Aiforia selected as AI partner for PROSTIA project – expanding to five new hospitals in Paris  Aiforia France, a subsidiary of Aiforia Technologies Plc, has been selected as the AI partner for the PROSTIA project led by Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP). In this project, Aiforia’s CE-IVD marked prostate cancer diagnostic solution will be implemented across all AP-HP pathology sites involved in the treatment of prostate diseases, expanding the collaboration started in 2024 at AP-HP’s Bicêtre and Saint-Louis hospitals to five new hospitals. Through the project, all 3,000 prostate biopsy cases examined annually at AP-HP will be analyzed using Aiforia’s AI technology. This is one of Europe’s first large-scale implementations of AI in routine pathology. The new agreements are part of the two-year PROSTIA project funded by Bpifrance, which is a significant, large-scale strategic initiative supported by the national France 2030 program. The project aims to evaluate the impact of AI-assisted tools on prostate cancer diagnostics. PROSTIA is a flagship project that illustrates the large-scale implementation of AI in clinical diagnostics and its concrete, measurable effects on organizations and pathology workflows. The goal is to evaluate the medical, operational, and economic impacts of AI integration on routine pathology diagnostics, specifically for prostate cancer samples. This medical and economic evaluation will provide the baseline data to consider including AI solutions in the pathology reimbursement system. In the long term, the project aims to expand the use of AI to other use cases. ”Our participation in the PROSTIA project is a significant milestone in bringing AI-assisted diagnostics into routine clinical use in France. The project lays the groundwork for the broader adoption of AI across various pathology use cases. The minutes of the General Meeting can be found on Aiforia’s website (investors/AGM2026) It was a close call; 65% voted in favor, while 2/3 (66.67%) was required. The EGM indeed has the same proposal, so if the opposing shareholders had an alternative financing plan, the board hasn’t taken it up yet. I personally plan to register and support the offering. Fuel is needed when reaching for the stars!

An interesting explanation… Apparently, it happens even in the best of circles. Anyway, this share issue arrangement in the original AGM notice was identical, including the same 5 million shares, so the actual content hasn’t been changed/renegotiated downwards, for example.  the voting result was caused by technical and administrative difficulties that several major shareholders had with the registration process for the AGM, which in turn prevented them from exercising their voting rights. Well, either way, the amount of 5 million shares being discussed doesn’t seem like a very large quantity compared to the current 33,691,604 shares.

There were also inklings of this on December 25th  In itself, it’s quite a niche area: predicting treatment outcomes for metastatic bladder cancer. They combine Aiforia’s tools and expertise in histology with spatial transcriptomics, which is a map of which genes are expressed in cancer tissue. By combining these, an AI-assisted predictive biomarker is being developed. That is new and the future. EV+pembro is a chemotherapeutic agent combined with an antibody that targets bladder cancer cells. Pembrolizumab is the world’s best-selling immune activation release agent. Paige has also collaborated with Dana. Although one has to start somewhere, I would still consider the opportunity given to Aiforia to show what it can do in top-tier research in the US as significant. Various digital pathology models for clinical use are what drive sales. Then there are tools like Aiforia Create, which researchers can use to build and study their own models. It’s a show of confidence in Aiforia’s technology. And it will ultimately lead to sales.

Well, what do you know, it hit the mark! The hint was this funding, where a project by a Dana-Farber researcher matched a bit too precisely what Aiforia’s earlier press release opened up about.
