Gothenburg                                                                             August 31, 2026

Aixia has been selected to support an established Swedish software company in the establishment of a new enterprise platform for containerized workloads based on Kubernetes. The customer develops and delivers business-critical software solutions and cloud-based services to companies and organizations across several industries.

The assignment is strategically important for Aixia and further strengthens the company's position within Kubernetes, container platforms and modern platform architecture. As an increasing number of organizations build their future application environments on container-based infrastructure, the requirements for expertise in architecture, automation, security, networking, storage and operations continue to grow.

Aixia's assignment includes senior architectural expertise and hands-on platform engineering covering cluster design, networking and storage for container environments, GitOps, deployment and lifecycle management, security, policies and multitenancy, as well as processes for long-term operations and management. Aixia will work closely alongside the customer's own technical team, with a strong emphasis on continuous knowledge transfer and building the customer's internal capabilities.

"This is a strategically important deal for Aixia. Kubernetes and container-based platforms have become a central part of modern IT infrastructure, but building a robust production platform requires much more than individual technology components. It requires deep expertise across the entire stack, from networking, storage and architecture to automation, security and day-to-day operations. We have that expertise in-house, combined with hands-on experience from building and operating Kubernetes in our own production environments. This enables us to help the customer not only establish the platform itself, but also build the capabilities required to develop and operate it over the long term," says Mattias Bergkvist, CEO of Aixia.

Aixia already builds and operates its own Kubernetes-based production environments and has specialist expertise across the infrastructure layers surrounding modern container platforms. The assignment therefore represents another step in Aixia's development as a strategic partner for organizations building business-critical, scalable and highly automated IT platforms.

The initial assignment covers a four-month period and includes an option for extension.
