Attendo's new care home, Attendo Kuisma, in Helsinki has now been completed. The home has 74 apartments, and the first residents are expected to move in at the end of October 2026. The new care home is centrally located and offers a safe and accessible living environment.
The four-floor building is designed with a focus on accessibility and person-centered care tailored to each resident's individual needs. Each floor has shared dining areas, living rooms and a homely kitchen, providing opportunities for social interaction and a sense of community.
”It is important to us that every resident of Attendo Kuisma can enjoy an everyday life that feels like their own. We look forward to welcoming our first residents at the end of October and creating a safe environment where they can feel at home from the very first day,” says Virve Huhtakangas, Regional Director for Helsinki and Kirkkonummi at Attendo Finland.
The care home is designed to support both community and independence. Residents on the second floor have access to a sauna, while a terrace and a paved pathway in the courtyard make it easy to spend time outdoors, including for residents using wheelchairs or walkers.
