Beijer Alma’s subsidiary Beijer Tech acquires Slangservice

Beijer Tech has today, May 19th, 2026, signed an agreement through its subsidiary Lundgrens to acquire 100 percent of the shares in Slangservice i Uppsala AB, a Swedish distributor of hydraulic products.

Slangservice is a Swedish distributor of hoses, pipes, couplings, wear parts and various other hydraulic products. The company, which is well-known in the industry, also offers field and workshop services to its customers and holds a strong position in the Mälardalen region. The company has 13 employees and revenue of about SEK 45 million with good profitability. For further information, please visit the company’s website: www.slangservice.se.

The acquisition is in line with Beijer Alma’s model for value-adding acquisitions and Beijer Tech’s strategy of acquiring profitable companies in attractive niches with good growth potential and high value-add.

Fredrik Karlsson, Head of Business Area Fluid Technology, commented on the transaction: “We are pleased to welcome Slangservice to Lundgrens and Beijer Tech. The company is well-known in the market and has a strong local presence, a high level of technical expertise and a well-developed service store. This acquisition increases Lundgrens’ presence in the Mälardalen region and will allow us to create additional value for our end customers.”

Claes Runehagen, former owner and CEO, will remain active in Slangservice together with the other owners. He also commented on the transaction: “We are proud of what we have built at Slangservice and see this as a natural next step. Lundgrens provides the company with a long-term owner that shares our perspective on quality and customer service, and we look forward to continuing to develop our operations together.”

Through the transaction, Lundgrens will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Slangservice i Uppsala AB with closing taking place today. The company will be part of Beijer Tech’s Fluid Technology business area. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Beijer Alma’s earnings per share.
