It’s rare to be able to give investment advice, but in this case, one almost dares to suggest: sell the old ones for three cents and buy new ones for a cent.

You’ve been able to sell them all along since the subscription right split off as its own instrument. By selling immediately, you would have gotten about seven cents for a security worth roughly one cent. Even now, it’s almost 3.

Could someone more knowledgeable tell me, as I don’t quite understand how this works. If I have subscribed to the new shares and they are visible in my portfolio, can I already sell the old shares without any impact on the new ones?

Hospitals seem to be so short-sighted or strict with their budgets that they won’t even try a new product if it’s significantly more expensive than the current one. Additionally, many countries have reimbursement systems, and the rates are exactly the same for both new and old products. That is, if both products fall into the same reimbursement category.

That’s true. After all, procedures can’t cost an unlimited amount, but I’m sure a suitable price and a price cap will be found for Bioretec’s screw and the procedure.

Insurance doesn’t mean the tab is wide open; rather, there are negotiated price caps for procedures.
