<div class="mfn-preamble"><p><strong>Byggfakta Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100 per cent of Forecon, a provider of business intelligence to the Finnish construction industry. With the acquisition, Byggfakta Group further broadens its offering in Finland.</strong></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p>Forecon, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Tampere, is a Finnish research and expert services company specializing in monitoring and forecasting the construction and real estate market. History dates back to the 1970’s when VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland established a research unit focused on monitoring the construction market, which became part of Forecon in 2013. Besides the Finnish construction market, the company also monitor the construction market in Europe and in the Baltics.</p><p>Forecon had approximately EUR 0.7 million of revenue in the financial year 2020 and has approximately 8 employees based in Tampere. The acquisition of Forecon strengthens the position and broadens Byggfakta Group’s offering in Finland.</p><p>”The importance of data driven management is growing in the construction business and together with Forecon expertise, we are further strengthening the value of our market data for our customers”, says Sampsa Seppälä, CEO Finland.</p><p>“We are happy to welcome Forcon to Byggfakta Group.
