Byhmgard AB (publ) ("Byhmgard" or the "Company"), listed on NGM, has today received an order worth approximately SEK 14 million for the delivery of a 5 MW / 10 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) to a project in Finland. The BESS forms part of a larger project for which Solarigo Systems Oy ("Solarigo") is responsible for the overall turnkey delivery to an external investor. The completed facility will be owned and operated by the external investor. Commercial operation date (COD) is planned for the third quarter of 2027.

Partnership with Solarigo expands to external customers

In previous joint projects, Solarigo has been the end customer for Byhmgard’s deliveries. This is the first project in which Byhmgard and Solarigo jointly deliver a solution to an external investor.

The battery energy storage system forms part of a larger project that also includes solar power. The transaction demonstrates how the partnership between Byhmgard and Solarigo can be used to address a broader customer base of developers and investors in the Nordic market.

Significance for Byhmgard
For Byhmgard, the order represents approximately SEK 14 million in additional hardware sales and adds another utility-scale BESS project in Finland to the Company’s reference portfolio. Byhmgard’s engagement is limited to the BESS delivery, and the Company will have no ownership interest or other economic participation in the completed project.

Scope of delivery
Byhmgard’s scope comprises the supply of a complete 5 MW / 10 MWh BESS hardware solution. Solarigo is responsible for the overall turnkey delivery of the project, which combines the battery energy storage system with a solar power installation and a co-location control solution.

The integrated solution is designed to enable coordinated operation of the solar and battery assets, supporting participation in ancillary services markets while optimising the utilisation of the shared grid connection.

“This order is an important next step in our partnership with Solarigo. We are moving from supplying systems directly to Solarigo to jointly delivering solutions to external customers. It broadens the commercial scope of our collaboration and creates opportunities for us to address a larger part of the Nordic BESS market together,” says Christian Byhmer, CEO of Byhmgard.

Next steps
Delivery and commissioning will be carried out in accordance with the project schedule. Byhmgard will communicate material updates in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements.
