I have thousands of euros worth of Carasent ASA. It is no longer traded, so I am stuck with the shares. I thought there would have been an automatic exchange to Carasent AB… Is anyone else in the same situation? What should I do? How can I prevent this in the future?

Despite a somewhat softer Q4 report than expected and a softened outlook for H1 2025, we changed our Base Case driven by revised                              New Base Case SEK28 (NOK26.5)  We raise our Base Case to SEK28 (NOK26.5) due to a slightly lower WACC, raised mid- and long-term margin assumptions, and a larger confidence in the long-term TAM outlook in Sweden. Trading at about 3.6x sales 2025e, Carasent might not look that attractive, considering its soft LTM margins. However, we believe Carasent is set for substantial margin expansion over the next few years. With an R40 approaching 30-35% in 2026-2027, along with a very low churn and a non-cyclical end market, we believe Carasent’s valuation could approach R40 SaaS businesses that tend to be valued at 6-8x sales NTM (excluding Fortnox).

Consequently, the last day of trading and listing of the Carasent ASA shares on Oslo Børs was 4 December 2024. The shares in Carasent AB are expected to start trading on Nasdaq Stockholm on 9 December 2024.</strong></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p>As announced on 30 August 2024, the Carasent ASA board of directors has resolved on a cross-border merger plan to effect a planned relisting of its shares on Nasdaq Stockholm (the “<strong>Relisting</strong>”). Carasent ASA’s Extraordinary General Meeting approved the merger plan on 4 October 2024 as previously announced.</p><p>Upon completion of the merger, all Carasent shareholders had their shares in Carasent ASA exchanged one-for-one with shares in Carasent AB, and Carasent ASA is struck off from Oslo Børs.
