Castellum issues Green Bonds for SEK 1.25 Bn
Castellum AB has successfully completed a Green Bond issue of SEK 1.25 Bn, with a tenor of three years, under its Swedish MTN program.
The investor interest for the issue was strong, and with today’s issue, Castellum has issued bonds three times during 2023, for a total value of SEK 2.65 Bn.
”It is positive that the bond market for Nordic property companies is starting to pick up again after a period of very low activity. We see an increasing interest in green investments that are in line with the EU Taxonomy Regulation, which our green framework has been doing for more than a year now”, says Jens Andersson, CFO, Castellum AB.
This is the first Green Bond issue under Castellum’s updated Green Financing Framework, which was launched in collaboration with Handelsbanken in 2022.
Castellum has hired Cicero for an independent second party opinion of the framework. The overall statement is that Castellum has excellent management of its sustainability work, and the framework has been awarded “Medium Green”.

Handelsbanken acted as sole bookrunner for the issue and bonds will be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
