Castellum is simplifying its organization and intends to move from four regions to two. Örjan Rystedt will be CEO of Region Göta and Per Gawelin will be CEO of Region Svea. At the same time, the company aims to reduce its administrative costs by 15 percent, corresponding to approximately SEK 100 million.

The change is part of Castellum's continued efforts to simplify the organization, make decisions faster and reduce its costs.

Region Göta will include Gothenburg, Borås, Jönköping, Växjö, Norrköping, Linköping and Copenhagen.

Region Svea will include Stockholm, Uppsala, Västerås and Örebro.

Örjan Rystedt and Per Gawelin will take up their new roles on September 25, 2026.

– Back to Basics is about removing things that are unnecessary. Less bureaucracy and more entrepreneurship. When the portfolio decreases, our administrative costs need to follow. We will continue to leave no stone unturned, says Pål Ahlsén, CEO of Castellum AB.

In connection with the change, Sven Stork and Mats Eriksson are leaving Castellum and the company's management team.

As a result of the sale of the property portfolio in Skåne, with completion on October 1, 2026, Ola Orsmark will also leave Castellum and the company's management team.

– I would like to extend a warm thank you to Ola Orsmark, Sven Stork and Mats Eriksson for their contributions to Castellum, says Pål Ahlsén.
