Cavotec signs orders worth a total of EUR 9.35 million for shore power systems for newly built and existing container vessels
Cavotec has signed two additional orders with a combined value of EUR 9.35 million with a leading global container shipping company. The new orders cover shore power systems for both newly built and existing container vessels.
The first order, worth EUR 5.55 million, includes the retrofitting of Cavotec’s shore power systems on a large number of existing vessels. The projects will be carried out while the vessels are in operation between Asia, the US, and Europe. Deliveries are scheduled to begin this year and continue until the end of 2026.
The second order, worth EUR 3.8 million, is an addition to the EUR 8.1 million contract that Cavotec announced in May this year. This order covers shore power systems for newly built container vessels, with deliveries scheduled to start in the second half of 2026.
Cavotec’s solutions significantly reduce emissions by enabling vessels to connect to shore power while at berth and support compliance with international environmental regulations.
