Construction begins on new Unika LSS home in Vallentuna

On 21 October, construction will begin on Unika Berga, a new LSS residential home with six apartments in Vallentuna, north of Stockholm. The home will be part of Unika, Attendo's specialist provider of individually tailored support and services under LSS. Set in scenic natural surroundings, Unika Berga will offer modern accommodation with support and care tailored to individual needs.

The home is intended for people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism who belong to group 1 under the Swedish Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). Unika Berga will be built as a single-storey building with six apartments, each with its own private patio. There will also be shared spaces for social interaction and community.
