Crown Energy AB (publ) has today received formal notice from Camera di Commercio di Roma, the Rome Chamber of Commerce, that PartPro S.r.l., a subsidiary of Proger S.p.A., and Proger S.p.A. have filed a Request for Arbitration against the Company. The arbitration concerns PartPro’s previously disclosed claim of EUR 5 million and a separate claim by Proger of EUR 0.3 million, in each case plus default interest. Crown Energy reiterates the position communicated in its press release of 23 April 2026 in relation to PartPro’s claim and contests all claims now brought against the Company on procedural and contractual grounds.

On 23 April 2026, Crown Energy announced that the Company had been served with documents relating to a European Payment Order claim filed by PartPro before a court in Italy. The arbitration now initiated concerns the same EUR 5 million claim and also includes Proger’s separate claim of EUR 0.3 million.

The Rome Chamber of Commerce has requested Crown Energy to submit its response within 30 days of receipt of the notice. No determination has been made on the merits of the claims.
Crown Energy reiterates its previously communicated position in relation to PartPro’s claim and contests all claims brought in the arbitration on procedural and contractual grounds. The Company is reviewing the Request for Arbitration together with legal counsel and will submit its response within the applicable time limit and take the measures it considers necessary to protect its interests.

The arbitration proceedings are confidential. Crown Energy will therefore not comment on the contents of the parties’ submissions beyond what the Company is required to disclose under applicable disclosure rules or other applicable law.

About Crown Energy
Crown Energy is transforming into a new and more socially responsible business direction, with focus on the medical technology industry and on improving the green footprint by way of investing in companies active in those areas.

The investment into the Healthtech company Accyourate marked the start of the new Crown Energy in early 2023. Accyourate holds high-tech patents and creates algorithms to support production of ‘smart’ wearable garments for use in the medical industry as well as services such as analysis, data gathering and extrapolations of medical information and growth of medical databases.

Crown has in early 2024 entered a strategic partnership with KAYA Climate Solutions GmbH, a project developer in nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation in Sub-Saharan Africa. This collaboration aims to be a starting point for large impact in climate change mitigation and adaptation through landscape restoration and nature conservation which will be financed by the voluntary carbon market and similar mechanisms.

The business area Asset Development and Management based in Angola is providing international companies Real estate and services. Crown Energy has been active in the oil and gas business for more than 10 years. Today the only remaining asset in the energy field is a passive holding of energy reserves which following the signing of a sale and purchase agreement is being divested. Crown has withdrawn from and/or written down its other earlier Licence holdings.
