Danish Aerospace Company A/S joins delegation to California with focus on dual-use and defense technology
Odense, Denmark, February 27th, 2026
Danish Aerospace Company A/S will participate in the trade delegation led by H.R.H. Prince Joachim of Denmark, Brigadier General and Defense Industry Attaché to the Danish Embassy in Wahington DC. The delegation will travel to California on the 9th-13th of March, to explore the emerging defense and dual-use industry in the region.
The delegation includes Danish Aerospace Company’s (DAC) CEO Thomas A. E. Andersen, who will highlight DAC’s equipment and explore new opportunities within dual use for DACs products.
The visit is organized by Innovation Centre Denmark Silicon Valley, the Danish Trade Council in Washington, the Danish Ministry of Defense and the Tech Ambassador’s Office. The delegation will also include key Danish stakeholders from industry, military and government.
During the week the participants will meet companies and organizations from the rapidly growing defense and dual-use industrial ecosystems of both Silicon Valley and the Greater Los Angeles area and explore concrete opportunities for collaboration and partnerships within defense and space.
Among the planned visits are cutting-edge California software and hardware companies and institutions like NVIDIA, Astranis, SpaceWERX, Space System Command and SpaceX.
“This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for DAC to participate in this delegation to help promote Danish and moreover DAC’s products for use within the defense and space industry as dual-use is an important part of our strategy.
I am very much looking forward to establishing new and important connections both in Silicon Valley, as well as in the greater Los Angeles area on this trip. While we are well established within the human spaceflight sector and industry, we are relatively new to the dual-use area, specifically within the defense sector. This is an important new area we are actively pursuing now”, says CEO Thomas A. E. Andersen.
