<pre>Oslo, 3 July 2025: Reference is made to the stock exchange notice by Deep Value Driller AS ("DVD" or the "Company") on 4 October 2024 regarding the updated dividend distribution policy of DVD. Reference is further made to the board authorisation granted by DVD's annual general meeting on 6 June 2025 to resolve and distribute dividends in line with the Company's dividend policy based on the annual accounts for 2024. As set out in the Company's stock exchange notice of 4 October 2024, DVD's dividend distribution policy is to pay monthly dividends to DVD's shareholders from the group's operational free cash flow, after tax and debt service, subject to the discretion of the board. The board intends to distribute a monthly dividend of NOK 0.25 per share. However, as the dividend is declared in NOK, while the group's operational currency is in USD, the dividend amount will be contingent upon the prevailing NOK/USD exchange rates at the time of the dividend distribution. Based on the NOK/USD exchange rate as of 2 July 2025, DVD's board of directors has today resolved to distribute a dividend in the amount of NOK 0.20 per share, in total approximately NOK 18.6 million, for July 2025. The dividend is expected to be paid on or about 10 July 2025 and will be regarded as repayment of paid-in capital by the shareholders of the Company.
