Dignitana AB: Dignitana expands intellectual property with new patent in Korea

Dignitana

Dignitana has received a Notice of Allowance from the Korean Intellectual Property Office for a patent titled "Scalp Cooling Apparatus, Method and System."

Patent Application No. 10-2021-7017704 was submitted in 2021 and approved 31 December 2024.  This filing expands on the previous Korean patent obtained by Dignitana in 2014 which was based on technology in Dignitana's legacy C3 DigniCap scalp cooling system.

"Dignitana's IP portfolio provides a broad protection for our scalp cooling technology. We have an active IP strategy and have consistently worked to acquire rights in priority markets. This new patent in Korea brings additional value to the company and provides a solid foundation for strategic development in Asia," said Fredrik Jonsson, CEO of Dignitana.
