With great sadness, EasyFill AB announces that the company's founder and board member, Håkan Sjölander, has passed away after a period of illness.
Håkan was one of the individuals who laid the foundation for EasyFill and a driving force behind the company's development. Through his entrepreneurship, perseverance and strong belief in the ideas, he built something that continues to live on and evolve.
He was a person who saw opportunities where others saw obstacles, and through his commitment, warmth and experience, he influenced both the company and everyone who had the privilege of working closely with him.
Håkan often said that to succeed in business you need three T's: tur (luck), tajming (timing) and talang (talent). But those who knew him also knew there was a fourth T: tålamod - the patience to never give up.
CEO Tobias Sjölander comments:
For me, this is a loss that is difficult to put into words. Håkan was not only the founder of EasyFill, he was also my father.
We worked together for more than 30 years and were in contact almost every day, often several times a day. He has been a natural and constant part of both my life and my work for so long that it is hard to grasp that he is no longer here.
Without him, the company would not exist, and without him, I would not be who I am today. He was my greatest support, a role model, and the person who has meant the most to me in my life. To me, he will always be the best father one could ever wish for. You will be deeply missed!
