Freetrailer expands its collaboration with Obs BYGG and adds 74 trailers at 10 new locations

Freetrailer Group A/S has just expanded their co-operation agreement with one of Norway's largest DIY chains Obs BYGG. The agreement adds another 10 locations to the existing framework agreement. In total, the collaboration now includes 27 warehouses throughout Norway.

The 10 new locations, on a multi-year agreement, are: Tiller, Molde, Førde, Forus, Moss, Nygårdskrysset, Hønefoss, Haugenstua, Tune and Jessheim.

With the agreement, Freetrailer increases the total number of locations in Norway by 9% to 120, and the number of trailers increases by more than 16% to +500 rental products.

"We see the expansion of the collaboration with Obs BYGG as clear proof that our sharing economy solutions create value for the DIY chain, and our self-service and full-service concept has made everyday life easier for both the department stores and their customers," says Lars Kronqvist, Country Manager for Freetrailer in Norway, and elaborates:

"We are experiencing a significant increase in interest in our rental trailers in Norway, and many customers especially appreciate the fact that they do not have to buy anything in the department store in order to borrow a trailer. This flexibility appeals to many, and it is therefore gratifying that with the upgraded agreement we can now help even more Norwegians transport everything from garden waste to household goods and new purchases."
