Investor AB has published its 2023 Annual Report including the Sustainability Report, on www.investorab.com.Despite a challenging macro environment, Investor performed strongly and delivered on the strategy during 2023.Investor's ultimate target is to generate an attractive total shareholder return. In 2023 total shareholder return was 26 percent, compared to 19 percent for the SIXRX return index. This was the thirteenth straight year that Investor outperformed the Swedish stock market.2023 delivery on the strategic priorities:<ul><li>Grow our net asset value: Adjusted net asset value grew by 24 percent, exceeding SEK 800bn for the first time.</li><li>Pay a steadily rising dividend: The Board of Directors proposes a dividend of SEK 4.80 (4.40) per share, an increase of 9 percent.</li><li>Deliver on our ESG targets: Continued progress, CO\2\e-emissions from our companies decreased by 65 percent compared to baseline year 2016.</li></ul>In the Annual report, Chair of the Board Jacob Wallenberg and CEO Johan Forssell comment on the complex and unpredictable world, Investor's performance and the work to future-proof Investor and the portfolio."Our companies have been able to adjust to the green transition and how it is fundamentally changing society, in everything from how we produce energy, to how we manufacture and how we consume.
