Kempower launches enhanced service packages to optimize performance and cost control for its customers

Kempower, a leading manufacturer of DC fast charging solutions, is enhancing its service offering with service packages, which are designed to help its direct customers – charging operators and charging infrastructure asset owners – reduce costs, simplify operations, and improve long-term return on investment.

As EV charging networks are expanding rapidly, maintaining charging infrastructure performance while managing operational costs has become a growing challenge. Unpredictable maintenance needs, fragmented service models, and increasing system complexity are putting pressure on charging operators to find more efficient and scalable service solutions.

With its enhanced service offering, Kempower addresses these challenges by providing structured, Service Level Agreement (SLA) based service packages that transform maintenance from a reactive burden into a predictable and professionally managed process.

In the first phase, the service packages will be available for Kempower’s customers in the Nordics, Benelux, France, the UK and North America.

“Our customers are scaling their charging networks rapidly, and with that comes increasing operational complexity,” said Katri Piirtola, Chief Service and Aftermarket Officer. “With our service packages, we enable customers to convert unpredictable maintenance costs into fixed operating expenses, while relying on Kempower’s expertise to ensure consistent performance.”

The service packages offer a tiered approach – Essential Care, Advanced Care, and Premium Care – allowing customers to select the level of support that best fits their operational and business needs. Key benefits include:

  • Predictable, fixed OPEX through structured service agreements
  • Reduced need for internal maintenance resources
  • Direct access to Kempower expertise for efficient service issue resolution
  • A single point of accountability for infrastructure service support

By outsourcing maintenance operations to Kempower, customers can focus on their core business while ensuring their charging assets deliver reliable, long-term performance.

This launch represents the first phase of Kempower’s broader service strategy. The company plans to continuously expand its service capabilities, evolving toward more advanced, data-driven and predictive solutions as customer needs and infrastructure scale.

“Charging infrastructure is a long-term investment,” added Piirtola. “Our goal is to support our customers throughout the entire lifecycle – ensuring every Kempower charging solution delivers maximum uptime, performance and reliability.”
