The purchase price is approximately NOK 822 million, and the company has a turnover of DKK 1,000 million and an EBIT of DKK 66 million. Kitron gains a broad customer base and a strong foothold in the Danish market.

This is a record and reflects a strong total demand situation but also includes revenue delays due to the component shortage. The order backlog increased within all market sectors. In absolute numbers, the order backlog grew the most within Electrification and Defense/Aerospace, while the percentage growth was particularly strong within Connectivity.” There would be plenty of orders (38% more compared to the previous year), but raw material and component shortages are eroding the pace. The hope is that the situation will ease next year. I’ve been following the company recently without owning shares, as potential issues with raw materials and components were known.
