Knowit Continues to earn the trust of the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration in Naval Command Systems
The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has decided to exercise options to extend existing framework agreements with Knowit within naval command systems. The extension means that Knowit will continue its engagement with FMV for an additional two years.
FMV has chosen to exercise options to extend a total of seven framework agreements with Knowit Defence Technology, a subsidiary within the Knowit Group.
“This is very gratifying for us at Knowit. We see great opportunities, together with our partners, to continue contributing our expertise and innovative capability across several sub-areas within naval command systems,” says Stefan Palmgren, CEO of Knowit’s subsidiary Knowit Defence Technology.
For many years, Knowit has collaborated with the Swedish defence and security sector, developing digital services and products for communication, situational awareness, and interoperability. Over the years, we have established strategic partnerships with the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, and we also work closely with international defence organisations.
FMV has the option to further extend the framework agreements by an additional two years, making them valid at the latest until 2029-06-30 and 2030-01-08 respectively, provided that all options are exercised.
