Lagercrantz Group: Lagercrantz acquires Vihab
Lagercrantz Group's subsidiary Plåt & Spiralteknik i Torsås AB (PST) has today acquired all shares in Vibrerande hantering i Ängelholm AB (Vihab). Vihab develops and sells customised machines for dosing, transporting, screening, unloading and packing materials through vibration technology. Customers are found among foundries, mines, recycling, the steel and timber industry and the food processing industry, primarily in Sweden. On average, the company has generated annual revenue of MSEK 4 - 6 in recent years.
"Through the acquisition, we are strengthening our offer to customers in Sweden and internationally, and we will become a complete supplier for bulk transport," comments Magnus Nilsson, MD of PST.
Tommy Karlsson, former owner of Vihab: "PST is a long-term and stable company and offers a new safe haven for Vihab. With its sales force and international contacts, the business can continue to develop."
Vihab as a subsidiary to Plåt & Spiralteknik i Torsås AB will form part of the Lagercrantz Niche Products division starting from February 2021. The acquisition is expected to generate a marginal addition to the Group's earnings per share on an annual basis.
