Lappland Guldprospektering AB and Dragon Mining Sweden AB have entered into an agreement regarding the processing of ore from the upcoming test mining operation in Stortjärnhobben
Lappland Guldprospektering is planning a test mining operation of 10,000 tonnes in Stortjärnhobben and will submit an application for an environmental permit before the end of the year. In order to process the ore, the Company has entered into a Letter of Intent with Dragon Mining Sweden AB to run the ore from test mining at the Svartliden processing plant.
"Svartliden plant is suitable for processing the Stortjärhobben ore, the distance from Stortjärnhobben to Svartliden is only 50 km. Dragon Mining has an ongoing licensed operation in Svartliden where ore from other external mines are processed. All the necessary infrastructure is in place, including a crusher, mill, processing plant, landfill and water treatment facility, to process the ore from the Stortjärnhobben test mining operation. We are very pleased to initiate this collaboration for our test mining and also look forward to future collaboration to process ore from a full-scale mining operation in Stortjärnhobben," says Lappland Guldprospektering AB's CEO Fredrik Johansson.
