Midsona publishes Annual Report and Sustainability Report for 2025
Midsona today publishes its Annual Report for 2025, including the Sustainability Report, on the company’s website www.midsona.com. The Annual Report describes how the company during the year has continued to build a stronger foundation for long‑term growth and increased competitiveness, as well as the progress made within its sustainability efforts. A printed copy of the Annual Report may be requested by emailing info@midsona.com. The Annual Report is also available on the website in European Single Electronic Format (ESEF).
“During 2025, Midsona has taken important steps forward through a refined strategy and a focused action plan. The year was characterized by progress for our own consumer brands, strengthened margins, and an improved organic offering. With an intensive year behind us, it is clear that our initiatives are beginning to generate returns—while significant work still remains on our journey toward our long‑term objectives,” says Henrik Hjalmarsson, President and CEO of Midsona.
In addition to the financial results for 2025 that were published in connection with the year‑end report, the Annual Report also presents the outcome of Midsona’s sustainability targets. Progress during the year includes continued reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from own operations (Scope 1 and 2) by 14 percent compared to the 2022 base year, increase in the share of recycled plastic packaging from 50 percent (2024) to 65 percent (2025) and fulfilment of the Swedish Food Retailers’ Federation (DLF) initiative on fossil‑free transports in Sweden.
The Annual Report also includes further details on Midsona’s refined strategy and its updated sustainability framework, “A healthier tomorrow” which together clarify the company’s priorities and focus areas.
In connection with the publication, Midsona has also released a video on www.midsona.com in which President and CEO Henrik Hjalmarsson comments on the report and the refined strategy.
