The court also dismissed the appeal from a private individual. If today’s decision is not appealed, the judgment regarding the environmental permit will become final on December 5, 2024.</strong></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p>“We are very pleased that the court has decided not to grant leave to appeal. We can now continue our preparations to reopen the Viscaria copper mine with full force,” says Jörgen Olsson, CEO of Viscaria.<br><br>The ruling from May 6, 2024, was appealed by the Gabna Sámi village, three private individuals, and Viscaria.
