(Oslo, Norway - October 24, 2024) Nordic Semiconductor ASA reported revenue of
USD 159 million for the third quarter 2024, an increase of 18% compared to the
third quarter last year and 24% higher than the previous quarter. Gross margin
was 50% in the third quarter, and reported EBITDA showed a profit of USD 16
million.
The year-on-year revenue increase primarily reflects stronger demand in the
Consumer segment, with the sequential improvement also reflecting that the third
quarter typically is the seasonally strongest quarter of the year.
For the fourth quarter, the company expects revenue of USD 130-150 million, and
a gross margin of around 50%.
We returned to year-on-year growth in the third quarter and expect that to
continue in the fourth quarter. In the final quarter of the year, we are also
excited to be launching the first products in our new nRF54 Series at the
Electronica fair in Germany in November, says CEO Vegard Wollan in Nordic
Semiconductor.
