Nordnet launches in Germany on November 16

Nordnet is expanding its footprint beyond the Nordics and launches operations in Germany on Monday 16 November. The market entry will take place in phases, initially offering a comprehensive suite of savings and investment tools to early-access customers before a full market launch in early 2027.

Nordnet's market entry will take place in phases. Initially, the offering will be limited to select customers and include securities accounts, a savings account, stock trading, funds, ETFs and "Nordnet Social", a digital investment community with over half a million members. The range of services will be expanded gradually. From January 2027, the Nordnet website and award-winning app will be available to the whole market, expanding the offering to also include pension savings accounts.

"Germany is the next logical step in Nordnet's growth strategy. We want to empower and inspire savers in Germany to make better and more independent decisions about their financial future. To achieve this, we will provide them with the same comprehensive information, tools and market access normally reserved for professional investors", says Rasmus Järborg, CEO of Nordnet.

As part of a phased market entry, Nordnet will initially grant access to its service to people who sign up on the waiting list for early access. Registration has been open on the German website since the beginning of October and will remain open until the beginning of January 2027. Together with these early users, Nordnet will test and further develop its products and services for the German market.

"Anyone looking for a cutting-edge platform offering a wide range of easy-to-understand savings and investment products has come to the right place. We ensure customers always know exactly what they are paying for, with transparent pricing and no hidden clauses", says Arno Walter, Country Manager for Nordnet Germany.

Nordnet's pricing will be transparent and competitive. All account types and automated regular savings plans will be free of charge. Customers receive an interest rate of 2 percent on deposits in their savings account. A flat fee of €2.95 per order applies to all securities transactions, covering all execution costs. Customers signing up before January will have free trading for 12 months and 2.5 percent interest on savings accounts for six months.
