OptiCept deepens collaboration with FPS Food Process Solutions
OptiCept Technologies AB (publ) announces that the company has updated and deepened its collaboration with its strategic partner and supplier FPS Food Process Solutions (“FPS”). The new agreement aims to improve cash flow and sales by significantly shortening lead times, from months to weeks, for OptiCept’s PEF systems for the food industry.
Under the new agreement, FPS commits to manufacturing, finance, and continuously keep on stock at least 15 CEPT® generators, a core component of OptiCept’s PEF systems, as well as three OPTICEPT® PEF systems, one for the solid and two for the liquid food segment. This creates the conditions for immediate deliveries and shorter lead times to customers.
The new agreement replaces the remaining deliveries under the order of key components for systems for solid foods that OptiCept received from FPS and which was communicated in May 2024. The new commitment from FPS corresponds in value to the remaining deliveries under that order, that now is cancelled through the new agreement. The agreement reflects the positive belief that both OptiCept and FPS have in seeing the technology as a future standard within a number of different food verticals.

FPS is responsible for the marketing, sales, manufacturing, and installation of OptiCept’s equipment within the solid food segment. Since the second half of 2025, FPS has also been manufacturing systems for liquid foods under a subcontracting agreement, whereby OptiCept provides key components such as critical hardware and software.
FPS Food Process Solutions is a global leading supplier of turnkey systems for freezing, cooling, frying, and food handling. The company delivers process technology equipment to food producers worldwide, with a particularly strong presence in the potato industry. FPS was founded in 2010 and today has sales offices on six continents as well as manufacturing facilities in several parts of the world.
