<div class="abstract">Peab has been commissioned to carry out infrastructure and pipeline work as part of the construction of a new city district in Åkersberga, Hagby äng och kulle. The customer is Österåker Municipality and the contract is worth SEK 220 million. </div>Hagby äng och kulle will be a new verdant city district with a small town feeling, 2.5 kilometers west of Åkersberga's city center. Hagby äng och kulle will have a variety of structures close to both water and recreation. The area will provide housing, public services and city center activities with a cohesive structure of streets, parkways, parks and meeting places. The design of the new district has been formed around the site's cultural history and landscape."We're proud to be part of the development of Hagby äng och kulle. Our work will contribute to creating a sustainable and vibrant city district that will benefit both current and future generations. Through our local presence and focus on our own resources our goal is to develop and build a safe and enjoyable environment where people can live and work ," says Carl Johan Söderberg, Region Manager Peab.The project is a traditional contract.
