Peab has been awarded an eight-year framework contract by Miljö och Vatten i Örnsköldsvik AB (Miva) for construction work in water and sewage in Örnsköldsvik Municipality. A contract worth SEK 100 million will be order registered in the third quarter of 2026.
The framework contract covers groundwork projects regarding new construction, renewal, repair and maintenance of the public water and sewage plant in Örnsköldsvik Municipality. Based on the framework contract, call-offs will be made successively during the contract period, specifying the scope and conditions of each project.
Peab has extensive experience of water and sewage projects and a strong local presence in the region. The combination of expertise, resources and experience from similar work has contributed to Peab being awarded the contract.

The framework contract allows Peab and Miva to collaborate early on when planning future projects. This creates the basis for carrying out projects efficiently and solutions that contribute added value to both the municipality and its residents.
The framework contract runs for eight years and will be implemented as a traditional contract.
The project will be order registered in business area Civil Engineering in the third quarter 2026.
