Pihlajalinna produces private social and health services. The company offers comprehensive medical center and hospital services as well as occupational health and insurance cooperation services. Pihlajalinna has been selected as the provider of occupational health services for the City of Mikkeli, Etelä-Savo Koulutus Oy, and Mikkeli Development Company Miksei Oy. The service agreement came into effect in April 2026 and continues a long-standing collaboration. The agreement covers approximately 2,200 employees. The occupational health service agreement between the partners includes statutory preventive occupational health services and general practitioner-level medical care services. The service agreement is valid until the end of 2028, after which it will continue indefinitely. Pihlajalinna has been providing occupational health services to the City of Mikkeli, Etelä-Savo Koulutus Oy, and Mikkeli Development Company Miksei Oy since 2022.

Here are Roni’s comments on Pihlajalinna’s new reporting structure and change negotiations. Pihlajalinna published comparable data for 2025 on Tuesday, in accordance with its new reporting structure. The new reportable segments include only minor changes from the previous ones, and we will incorporate the new segments in our Q1 update at the latest. At the same time, Pihlajalinna also announced yesterday that it is initiating change negotiations, which could lead to the dismissal of up to 270 employees. The background to the change negotiations is the exceptionally low demand that has continued, especially in the health services market. This, and the weak demand environment indicated by other public data points, is likely to continue from the beginning of the year onwards. After the current year, the headwinds from outsourcing will end, after which the company has the potential to return to organic growth and earnings growth. EV/EBIT 8x), and the stock’s risk/reward ratio is very attractive, even though earnings development is moving in the wrong direction this year.
