Renewable Ventures Nordic AB's planned acquisition target Xer Tech AB receives order from DelMar Aerospace Corporation following successful three-month field trial
On November 11, 2025, Renewable Ventures Nordic AB (publ) ("RVN" or the "Company") entered a binding agreement to acquire all shares in Xer Tech AB ("Xer Tech") through a reverse acquisition. Xer Tech is a defense tech company specialized in the development and sales of hybrid electric UAVs (drones) with both defense and civilian applications (a.k.a. Dual-Use). Today, Xer Tech announce that DelMar Aerospace Corporation has purchased an X8 drone system following a successful operational lease and extensive field testing conducted together with its Canadian partner, Perspectum Drone Inspection Services.
DelMar initially leased the X8 for three months, including an integration package for Sierra Olympia's Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) sensor and other sensors. During this period, the system was deployed by Perspectum across multiple methane-detection missions in Western Canada, supporting inspections of pipelines, oil production facilities, and other complex infrastructure.
Following the trial, DelMar decided to acquire the aircraft. The purchase includes the drone, a spare engine, and a long-range antenna.

Xer Tech successfully integrated the Sierra Olympia OGI sensor into the X8 earlier this year. The fully modular solution enables rapid payload reconfiguration and is compatible with multiple systems - an important advantage for operators conducting diverse inspection tasks.

Canadian regulatory progress unlocks new opportunities
Recent Canadian regulatory updates now allow virtually any certified pilot to operate the X8, significantly reducing adoption barriers. With its BVLOS-ready architecture and long-endurance hybrid-electric powertrain, the X8 is well positioned to support large-scale infrastructure inspection, particularly in the energy sector.
Strategic implications for the North American market
DelMar Aerospace Corporation is an established service provider to both commercial and U.S. defense clients, with operations at the FAA-approved Pendleton UAS Test Range. The strengthened partnership may open additional pathways for Xer Tech in the North American infrastructure, energy, and defense sectors.
