SeaTwirl AB today announces that Leif Delp has been engaged as Senior Strategic Advisor to the company. Delp brings extensive experience in the energy sector and floating offshore wind, including senior roles at Equinor, where he played a central role in the development of Hywind, the company's pioneering floating wind technology.
The appointment is part of SeaTwirl's strategy to accelerate the development and commercialisation of its innovative floating vertical-axis wind turbine technology.

SeaTwirl develops a new generation of floating wind turbines aimed at reducing the cost of offshore wind through a simpler design, lower material usage and more efficient maintenance. The company's technology addresses several of the key challenges currently limiting large-scale deployment of floating offshore wind.
As Senior Strategic Advisor, Leif Delp will provide strategic guidance within market development, industrial partnerships, project development and commercialisation. He will also support the company in discussions with industrial stakeholders, investors and other key partners.
