Selvaag Bolig ASA: Q1 2025: Sold homes for NOK 1,244 million
Selvaag Bolig sold 196 homes for NOK 1,244 million in the first quarter 2025. Net sales, i.e. sales adjusted for Selvaag Bolig's ownership share in joint ventures, amounted to 169 homes for NOK 1,038 million. This is NOK 278 million more than net sales in the same period in 2024 and the highest net sales value in the first quarter since 2021.
“The market has picked up, and we had significantly higher sales in the quarter compared to the same period in recent years. We have launched several new projects for sale that have been very well received in the market, and we plan to initiate more sales starts in our attractive core areas going forward,” says CEO Sverre Molvik.
During the quarter, construction of 183 homes was started, no new homes were completed, and 34 homes were delivered to buyers.
As of March 31, Selvaag Bolig had 1,012 homes under construction and 50 completed homes that have not yet been sold. In addition, the company had 23 completed homes that have been sold but not yet delivered.
“The strong sales have enabled us to significantly increase the number of homes under construction. We now have a solid order backlog that we aim to further increase going forward,” says Molvik.
In the first quarter 2024, Selvaag Bolig sold 154 homes gross worth NOK 868 million. Net sales were 139 homes worth NOK 760 million.
Units sold are sales contracts entered into with customers pursuant to the Norwegian Housing Construction Act and the Tenancy Act in Sweden.
