Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, through its subsidiary Sensys Gatso Australia, has signed a contract with an initial value of AUD 2.2 million, corresponding to SEK 14 million to provide trailer-based, mobile camera services for 4 years from its client, Serco Traffic Camera Services on behalf of the Victorian Government.

Traffic Enforcement as a Service (TRaaS) is a critical part of the Sensys Gatso Australia portfolio. Sensys Gatso Australia currently provides TraaS deliverables in the State of Victoria directly to the government and also through Serco Traffic Camera Services. This new TRaaS contract with Serco Traffic Camera Services enables the provision of trailer-based, mobile camera systems in an "as a service" model, with an initial value of AUD 2.2 million.

The Sensys Gatso trailer-based mobile speed enforcement systems provide a dynamic, readily deployed solution that complements the vehicle-based mobile speed enforcement systems currently deployed in the state of Victoria. The initial contract term is until October 2029 and has a further 3 optional extension terms of up to 2 years each, exercisable by the client.

The contract provides a platform for additional systems to be added "as a service" for an agreed per unit, per annum fee over the course of the contract term.

Sensys Gatso Australia's Managing Director Enzo Dri comments: "The expansion of mobile traffic safety systems through our trailer-based speed enforcement cameras provides increased flexibility into the operations of the road safety program in Victoria. This most current Sensys Gatso technology solution is being supplied as a service, and it continues to provide our client with the benefits of Sensys Gatso innovation, commercial flexibility and reliable support. We are excited to work in collaboration with Serco and the State to help meet its objectives of a safe road network for the community."
