The newly launched Legion Y900 13 from Lenovo features webcam-based eye tracking capabilities enabled through Tobii.
Tobii, the global leader in eye tracking and pioneer of attention computing, today announces that the company is providing its webcam-based eye tracking for Lenovo’s new, large-screen android tablet Legion Y900 13. This design win was announced on May 6 in Tobii’s interim report for the first quarter 2026, but with no details regarding the identity of the consumer electronics company or model name of the tablet. Lenovo released the Legion Y900 13 on May 19.
Webcam eye tracking to unlock new AI features
By building on Tobii’s webcam eye tracking, the Legion Y900 13 features multimodal AI interaction to improve efficiency when working with a tablet product, and additional features are expected to be released in its upcoming updates.
The webcam eye tracking in the Legion Y900 13 is a custom integration, built on a Qualcomm SoC and enabled using Tobii Nexus, a software-based eye tracking solution that can transform images from standard webcams into real-time eye tracking data. The result is a solution with a very small footprint and low-power execution.
