Vækstaktier.dk: SMS secures new order from existing customer in Ukraine

SMSMEDPress release2026-08-05 10:35

Scandinavian Medical Solutions announced yesterday that the company has delivered another high field Siemens MRI scanner to an existing customer in Ukraine.

Scandinavian Medical Solutions has completed the sale of a Siemens Lumina 3T MRI scanner to a customer in Ukraine, which also purchased a high-end system last year. The company has thus made two sales to the Ukrainian customer within the past year. The repeat sales confirm the company's position as a reliable supplier in the market for high field MRI scanners, as well as its ability to retain and expand relationships with existing customers.

Siemens' 3T platforms are currently used across a number of advanced clinical fields, including neuroradiology, a specialty focused on examining and treating diseases of the brain, head, neck and spine using MRI scanning. In addition, these platforms are also used for diagnostic imaging. The two sales to the same customer underline the growing demand for these types of systems among hospitals and clinics in the region.

The order has a value in the range of DKK 2.0-3.5 million and is therefore being disclosed in accordance with the company's information and communication policy, but does not change the guidance issued for the 2025/26 financial year, where revenue of DKK 190-220 million is expected with an EBITDA of DKK 0-5 million. In the first half of the year, the company realized revenue of DKK 92.3 million, and has in the current financial year announced orders totaling in the range of DKK 32.5-52.5 million.

The equipment was delivered in week 28.
