Today Veidekke has signed a contract with Bane NOR to carry out track renewal on
five sections across three regions in Eastern Norway. The contract is a
construction contract valued at NOK 460 million excluding VAT, plus options.

"We are very pleased to have won this competition and appreciate the trust Bane
NOR has placed in us. This will be extensive and intensive work where we will

The track renewal works will take place on segments of the Røros Line, the Dovre
Line, the Gardermoen Line (Romeriksporten tunnel), the Upper Main Line and the
Gjøvik Line. In total, the contract includes the replacement of 46 kilometres of
tracks, the addition of approximately 90,000 tonnes of ballast, and the
replacement of more than 75,000 railway sleepers.

"Track renewal is essential to maintain safety and punctuality on the railway.
This contract will help ensure more stable and reliable transport for both
passengers and freight. We look forward to good cooperation with Veidekke on
this important assignment. Veidekke has the competence and experience that gives
us confidence that this extensive project will be carried out efficiently and
with high quality," says Henning Bråtebæk, Executive Vice President for
Operations and Maintenance at Bane NOR.

Veidekke Bane was established in 1999 and performs renewal and maintenance of
railways and tramways. The company operates nationwide, has an annual turnover
of around NOK 600 million and employs 180 people with high-level expertise
