13.10.2026 11:55:13 CEST | Vend Marketplaces ASA | Non-regulatory press releases
Reference is made to the announcement by Vend Marketplaces ASA ("Vend") on 17
September 2026 and to the prospectus published today by Prisjakt AB (publ) in
connection with its planned listing. The prospectus describes the claim for
damages of approximately SEK 21.4bn brought by Prisjakt Sverige AB against
Google before the Patent and Market Court in Stockholm, and how any proceeds
from the claim would be allocated.
Pursuant to the share purchase agreement and related third-party litigation
funding arrangements, Vend's recovery is estimated to amount to approximately
50% of the gross recovery (before deduction of fees or actual costs directly
related to the proceedings as well as applicable taxes). Vend's final recovery
depends on the ultimate size of the recovery.
While Vend retains certain contractual rights relating to the proceedings, it is
not a party to the lawsuit. The claim inherently relies on Prisjakt's historical
operations, data and evidence to substantiate any economic loss. Vend emphasises
that every legal process carries an inherent uncertainty, and that the potential
impact for Vend is dependent on a number of factors which are difficult to
predict at this stage.
Vend will inform the market if and when material new information becomes
available.
