Evli is an asset management company. The group offers a range of financial services related to asset management and loan financing. Its customers include both private savers and larger corporate customers, with the largest activity in asset management. In addition to its core business, it also offers various ancillary services within fund operations. Evli has its headquarters in Helsinki.

As a reminder to this thread, the revenue from Evli’s equity research has been under EUR 0.5 million, meaning it is insignificant (on the wrong side of the decimal point) from Evli’s perspective. To clarify further, Evli is not discontinuing its brokerage services; this decision only applies to equity research. Brokerage volume, on the other hand, is already ~EUR 10 million. I’ll add the key figures directly from the interim report | Financial performance January-March 2026 (comparison period 1–3/2025) Net sales were 34.8 million euros (EUR 27.7 million). Operating profit was 16.1 million euros (EUR 11.4 million). The operating profit of the Asset Management and Investment Clients segment increased to 17.2 million euros (EUR 10.1 million). The operating profit of the Advisory and Corporate Clients segment decreased to -0.1 million euros (EUR 1.3 million). Assets under management at the end of March were 21.5 billion euros (EUR 19.0 billion) on a net basis, including assets managed by associates. Excluding associates, assets under management were 19.0 billion euros (EUR 16.7 billion). Return on equity was 33.6 percent (28.0%). The ratio of recurring income to operating costs was 127 percent (130%). Diluted earnings per share was 0.39 euros (0.27 euros). | These are certainly quite nice to savor

Alokas already shared Evli’s update here. Evli is currently doing very well and the market situation favors the company. March’s market jitters seem to be only temporary, and I believe new sales will quickly return to a normal track. Performance fees will decrease in the coming quarters from the current insanely high levels, but this is already accounted for in the forecasts. The stock’s worst undervaluation has dissipated (Säästöpankki’s fund has apparently managed to dump its holdings ), but the expected return on the stock is still at a good level as earnings growth continues and the dividend flow is generous.

Ruoholahti cooperative’s hard-working proletarian Sale has made a new company report on Evli regarding Q1  Evli’s Q1 report was ultimately well in line with our forecasts, as the earnings beat resulted from non-recurring fees. The company remains in excellent shape, and the earnings growth outlook for the coming years remains strong. We have not made any significant forecast changes. Evli’s share price has risen sharply since our last update, and the clearest undervaluation has corrected. However, the expected return provided by earnings growth and dividends remains sufficient. We are adjusting our target price to EUR 26.0 (prev. EUR 25), but lowering our recommendation to Accumulate (prev. Buy). Quoted from the report: Outlook remains positive As expected, the company reiterated its low-information-value guidance, where the company expects operating profit to be clearly positive. In typical fashion, Evli will refine its guidance as the year progresses. In our view, management’s comments regarding the outlook were quite positive, and the outlook for the rest of the year is strong. Markets have recovered quickly from the March dip, and investor risk appetite has improved. The company’s AUM is also at record levels, and sales have good prerequisites to continue their positive momentum.
