Aapeli, as a diligent fellow, has prepared a new company report on Exel.  Exel’s Q3 operational development was well in line with our expectations. The company’s order book continued to strengthen as positive market development continued, and Exel also announced a new major framework agreement on the results day. The overall picture strengthened our confidence in our strong earnings growth expectations for the coming years, to which we also made slight positive revisions. With our current forecasts, we see the stock’s valuation picture as attractive looking to next year, reflecting which we reiterate our ‘add’ recommendation and raise our target price to 0.45 euros (previously 0.43 €). Quoted from the report: Reflecting the realized development, Exel’s net debt at the end of the quarter was 28.0 MEUR, and its ratio to the adjusted EBITDA for the previous 12 months was 3.4x, which exceeded the company’s target level (below 3.0x). On the balance sheet side, the net gearing ratio was 99% and the equity ratio was 32%. In our opinion, the situation slightly raises risks, especially concerning working capital development, but we still see the situation as tolerable, provided that the working capital situation does not significantly worsen and the earnings level and cash flow strengthen during the coming quarters. Additionally, the sale of the UK factory could support the key figures. It’s a shame that deal with KONE wasn’t elaborated on more, just thinking about the size differences between this and de angel.
