Antti Kemppi serves as the CEO of Kempinvest. According to the stock exchange release, the purchases took place between February 12 and 13. In total, Kempinvest purchased 162,963 Kempower shares during that period. According to Kempower’s shareholder register, following the transaction, Kempinvest would now own approximately 0.9 percent of Kempower’s shares and votes, provided no other major changes in the company’s ownership structure have occurred during February. This would make it the company’s fourth-largest owner.

Insiders are buying more heavily. I don’t think one can conclude anything other than that Tesla manages with lower amperage. That’s why the smaller transformer. Whatever the outcome in price or anything else, the customer is still installing more Kempowers than Tesla chargers at this site.  I would have been satisfied if, alongside Tesla, they had tentatively tried one or two of Kempower’s MCS units.

So what was that big bonus provision in Kempower’s Q4 numbers? Is management cashing in on the company again? It was mentioned in that OP video…. One must remember that Kempower is making a loss; should someone be getting a bonus for that?? I dug up the answer once I got from my phone to my laptop. Personally, I see this as an unreasonably large cost, wow.  I recommend buying paper companies with that mindset. The fact is that it doesn’t necessarily make sense for a growing company to turn a profit, and the fact is also that compensation is required for employees if you want to hire a team that can compete on a global level.

Copied from the comment section of the link at the bottom of your post, here is a response from Phil Trubey: “Interesting that the Tesla megacharger is a lot more efficient than the Kempower one. They both output about 1.2 MW per post, but Tesla only requires a 2,500 kVA transformer for two posts, while Kempower requires a 3,000 kVA transformer.” Does anyone know if this claim is true?
