Donkey Republic is expected to release its H1 2026 interim report on 17 August 2026. Two days later, on 19 August at 11:00 CET, CEO Thor Möger Pedersen and CFO Jonas Bech will present the results and answer questions in a live online event, the first H1 presentation for Jonas Bech, who took up the CFO role on 1 June 2026.
In Q1 2026, Donkey Republic delivered a resilient performance despite unusually harsh winter weather across its Nordic markets. Total revenue rose 9.9% year-on-year to DKK 29.0 million, driven by continued fleet expansion (up 8.2% to an average of 23,381 active bikes) and a modest improvement in revenue per trip and per rider, even as riders (163k) and trips (1.3 million) declined 1.4% and 6.2% respectively due to the weather impact. Most notably, EBITDA improved to DKK -1.2 million, an 80.2% year-on-year improvement (from DKK -6.3 million in Q1 2025), reflecting the full effect of the cost-saving measures implemented after the Q3/Q4 2025 reorganisation. Activity normalised toward quarter-end, with March developing in line with expectations.
Based on the Q1 2026 performance, Donkey Republic confirmed its full-year 2026 guidance of revenue of DKK 179–194 million, EBITDA of DKK 34–45 million and EBIT of DKK 1–9 million (2025: revenue of DKK 166 million, EBITDA of DKK 26.0 million, EBIT of DKK -2.2 million).
In addition to the H1 2026 financial results, focus is expected to be on the progress and initial contribution from the German expansion, the Ruhr operations (Metropolradruhr) launched on 1 April 2026, while the first phase of the Düsseldorf system (500 of the planned 2,500 bikes) went live on 1 July 2026, with further phases following in August and September. The Company's capital structure and the recently completed debt restructuring are also likely to be in focus, alongside the pipeline of new city tenders supporting further growth.
Founded in 2014, Donkey Republic is a Danish purpose-driven company active in the micro-mobility industry, providing bike-sharing solutions to cities and citizens across Northern Europe through its own technology platform.
